anyway I really love the gorgeous models that this movie uses, wow wow wow. I bet the face rig was a riot to animate too, I want to animate rigs that are like 80% realistic like this. 

the layout portion really unnerves me

Claycat’s THE THING (by leehardcastle)

This is amazing. Not the best animation, but a great homage. Worth a watch if you’re a fan of Carpenter’s The Thing.

I’ve caved and joined this silliness. I’d like to actually use this and use it to animate stuff. And I love stick figures. So here’s something I made back in 2003, when LiveJournal ruled the world.
